    I couldn’t agree with you more on this. I wrote a similar – although far less tactful – post on my own blog http://www.ricksherrell.com/your-email-address-is-incredible/. Even as a college student, your email address screams your brand and whatever it is you’re screaming online right now is going to stick with you – even when you don’t want it to. It’s never too early to start creating the RIGHT impression of yourself.

    Great information. As a former HR Rep and Recruiter, it is amazing how many resume’s I got with emails like “hotsexy69” or “bigdaddy82”. If their qualifications were not stellar, I was hard pressed to contact those candidates. It’s important for students make great first impressions. Equally, if not more, important is the language of the email. Please don’t email me like I’m your homeboy if you are asking me to hire you.
