Tawan Perry - Connect 5 Workshop 01

Your quest to college completion will be long and time consuming. To help you get started with your college prep process and make a smooth transition, here are a few questions that you should ask yourself.

Have you started thinking about the type of school you want to attend next year? Small, large, public, private, community college, in state, out of state, etc. You have many choices, where do you see yourself?

What qualities in your future Alma Mater are most important? Majors offered, student life, affordability, college activities, faculty to student ratio, resources offered, prestige of school, etc.

Have you started to outline a plan of action? Set aside time to speak with your guidance counselor, mentors, advisors, parents and others to create a plan of action. Also, begin gathering information about prospective institutions. Visit these college resources to help get you started.
